NHS needs more funding
Went to the pharmacy today, was told the item that I needed wasn't in stock and to go to Warwick pharmacy, this has happened before when I've needed items from this pharmacy to be told it's not in stock. This is a terrible service and improvements need to be made in stock ordering, increasing stock and keeping on top of supplies so stock doesn't run out.It's low standards to tell patients that they need to travel to another pharmacy for an item that they should have in stock, if they kept there stock topped up this wouldn't happen. It's adds to patients stress and aggravation not to mention it's extra travelling costs having to travel around Warwickshire to get to a different pharmacy.I hope a member of management from Stratford Hospital reads this and tells the pharmacy department to increase there stock levels and manage there stock control better so patients can get items they have been prescribed and not told to go somewhere else because they have no stock.It's a bad service and they need to offer a better patient experience.
My 4 year old daughter had an appointment at the eye unit today. She was extremely worried and nervous. All memebers of staff were lovely, so calming and patient with her. They made her feel comfortable and eased her nerves about the process. During our appointment we had consultations with three separate consultants and each one was brilliant with her. She went in crying and came out laughing, smiling and excited to go and collect her first pair of glasses and it was all down too the encouragement and uplifting spirit of the consultants today! Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Lovely modern new hospital, very nice helpful staff, exceptionally clean facilities, minor injuries unit, quiet, cafe, no problems parking, first 30 minutes free and ticketless. Very impressive.
