Had THE most delightful wedge of cake and lovely pot of tea in fragile cups and saucers, a quiet little haven in the midst of a busy people filled high street, and the perfect way to cap of a day out in stratford - and u cant not mention the service, the gentleman that served us literally couldnt have done more or tried harder to make the experience perfect for us. Lovely lovely - not to mention all the antique surroundings, prime for a gentle mooch after your high tea :)
RUDE!!! Upon entering and saying that our mum has just passed away, then being told everything was TAT! There are ways of saying things to grieving families and this place does not know how to do it!! DO NOT USE THESE VIAL MORONS!!
Not prepared to accept reasonable offers and then told that they hadnt got time for us. We had wanted 3 items from 3 different dealers for 60 - one of which had been on sale same time last year. We wont come back.

Lovely place! You can find what you want. There is a wide range of items. Also, the Tea Room is a very welcoming place. Very good coffee!
