Good food and a friendly atmosphere. This would be a great place for dinner with friends.
Great little restaurant, difficult start, booked a table for 2 but squeezed into a tiny table next to a loud group of 4 but requested to move and got a nice table at the back which worked well. They are very busy because they are good at what they do so it's a positive. Waitress charming and very friendly, asked frequently if all ok and food was excellent so had a very pleasant evening and would return when back in Stratford Upon Avon.
Our first visit- came for supper; 3 generations. Staff good humoured; pleasant environment; lovely food. Happy to return to try other dishes on menu
We visited for dinner without a booking and decided on the spur of the moment to try The Opposition after studying the menus posted outside several restaurants in Sheep Street.Well located just a few minutes from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Avon river in one direction, and ample parking in the other.A friendly welcome from staff followed by speedy service, delicious starters accompanied by main courses complemented by reasonably priced good quality Prosecco.This was the perfect finish to a lovely Saturday evening spent strolling along the riverside and browsing the local attractions.Highly recommending this venue.
Really really good food pate starter!! great pork belly main was excellent every mouthful delicious.Sticky toffee pudding for dessert cracking. service was also a spot on thank you.
