Excellent. This is a very enjoyable way to see all of Stratford. Our guide, John (originally from Sheffield), was knowledgeable, informative and very funny (although I wouldn't want this to go to his head). He gave us much of the history as well as the "traditional history" (haunted places, scandals, rumours etc).
Great way to see the town and learn about Shakespeare
We booked a ghost tour guide for our Christmas work treat. From the moment we met Vincent he was theatrical, endearing and lovely. We were taken through the beautiful streets of Stratford from historical house to house being guided by Vincent and his spooky stories. The whole experience was fun, educational and throughly enjoyable. The cold wind was extremely bitter, so towards the end of the tour, Vincent kindly took us to a local pub where he finished off the stories over a warm mulled wine. This was such a unique experience and we all highly recommend Vincent and his spooky ghost walk.
Great tour with Owen, very informative and outgoing guide, great mix of stories and local knowledge. Meets at the swan fountain near the theatre and goes for 2-2.5 hours, ours ran a little overtime but you could leave at any time. Well worth the 6.
This is a great walk. Good pace and interesting information. Although it runs 2 hours you dont really walk far. Wish I had done this walk before studying Shakespeare in school. Had no idea how much his work affected our language today. If you visit Stratford dont miss this tour!
