Great club,fab food freshly cooked. Front desk staff are always polite and happy to help. Super clean and tidy throughout the entire club.
Not happy at all with our experience of Bannatyne Spa. Bought as a Christmas gift for my wife but on the day we were booked in, an emergency cropped up and we were unable to attend. Called the spa to explain who were totally unsympathetic and just read a script to us about terms & conditions, wouldn't rearrange but promised to get the manager to call us. We never received a call. Complained to head office, absolutely no response. Customer Service is completely dire. We have lost 70, which is not a small amount to us and my wife has lost her much needed Christmas gift. Having experienced such a lack of care, we would never book with Bannatynes again. Very upsetting all round.
I'm reviewing as the Spa side rather than the health club side. I got a good deal voucher deal to visit and I'm glad I didn't pay anymore for it. It's not really a spa. It's like treatment rooms, a pool, a sauna and a steam room. The restaurant is more of a college canteen than a ladies out at a spa day lunching kind of venue.
My wife and I had a really relaxing day. Starting with the Rasul mud treatment. After which we had a superb lunch. Then spent the rest of the afternoon and evening enjoying the facilities, including the sauna and steam room.
The spa is beautiful. I went for a girls day out, four of us had 3 different treatments. All were fantastic! The food was lovely. Only downside was people leave their towels etc on the 2 hammocks and beds to reserve them but are gone for ages so that stops other people from using them.
