Reasonable hire fee, can be little bit critical of times when busy but that's understandable. Choice of motor boat or rowing boat. Recommend the rowing boats as the motor boats tend to be slow and noisy.
Friendly and helpful but avoid if your missus is a div and insists on smashing the boat into the bank when steering!!
Make sure you agree time you left with these guys as they will try and claim you left earlier than you did and charge you extra. Obviously prefer extra cash and an unhappy customer than a happy customer.In relation to the lengthy response below - firstly how can we check the times recorded on the booking sheet if we are leaving on the boat - this has to be agreed with the guy at the boat. Secondly, we saw no evidence of apologising unreservedly. If the staff manning the boats are not management then perhaps it would be best to let them know your policy if and when times are recorded erroneously.
Last weekend we rent a motor boat here. The staff are very friendly. My family and my dog had an amazing boating experience here!!
Great fun, and not a lot of money either. We went with our 3 year old, but enjoyed it just as much as him. Plenty of time provided. Helpful staff, well worth doing when in Stratford.
