I set Langmans up as my dentist when I first moved to Stratford as all the other dentists were either private only, or very cold with me.That was 6 years ago, and I still look forward to going in.Every time I go Im met with understanding and calming receptionists, who knew me by face rather swiftly, and are just brilliant. Theres no rudeness, Im busy can you wait attitude, or the difficulty too much. Their text system is bloody brilliant if I say so myself as it reminds my a few days before my appointment, and I always receive a slip as well which I pin up on my calendar.In recent times Ive had a rather troublesome time with my teeth, and emergencies have to be made, when Ive phoned the desk, Ive received sensitivity and reassurance from Langmans, and a very speedy appointment around my timetable.Although I do not recommend this next aspect, I have put it down to their good nature. I turned up one day in the full knowledge I didnt have an appointment but needed to see someone due to pain. Nothing was beyond them and I got an appointment later that day. As my profession means Im pretty much always on-call they also adapt and allow me to sometimes change my appointments, and this is one of the biggest values I thank them for.The actual dentists, Ive had two, but the latter whose dealt with my recent problems is one of a kind; personal, guiding, and a good sense of humour. Hes a marvel and I thank him as much as a saint for the way hes educated me, and given my treatment.Theres a fair few things here that Im indebted to the whole team at Langmans for, but I dont really know what to say save for; thank you, so so much.Theyre brilliant and if you in Stratford, even the West Midlands, I couldnt recommend more.
Very rude receptionist - advised I had missed 3 appointments when this is news to me. Was told their text and email system can sometimes not send them and its up to me to remember my appointment. Was aware I had made another appointment?They made an emergency appointment for me and then subsequently cancelled 20 minutes later and refused to see me because I was rude on the phoneBut you can see another dentist.Really unprofessional to be honest.Complacent and probably prefer private patients anyway. Will be raising a complaint to regulators about this practice as you cant conduct yourselves in this way theres no smoke without fire.Reading the other reviews the receptionists seem to be the problem here and filtering reality to their superiors.This is honestly just wreckless customer treatment - - prejudice - and from what is a private business so Ill take my business elsewhere.And as the owner states they take on new patients every day, the receptionist informed my partner repeatedly that they arent taking in any new NHS patients and so had to go private with them.This clearly is their word against mine and they dont listen to their patients.
Brilliant dentist visit today especially with nervous people
I've never been one to leave a review anywhere but i felt really compelled to this time after receiving yet another disappointing experience. The actual dentists themselves are very helpful, happy and well mannered! etc. On the other hand, the receptionists are utterly useless with no knowledge of even basic manners or etiquette. No please / thank you's or hi's / goodbye's or even eye contact. They'll just sit there and then finally, albeit reluctantly, acknowledge your existence once you say something. Hardly a warm welcome like there website says! I've only used them because of their convenient location but will happily be going elsewhere from now on.
