Good bar to enjoy food and a nice drink in the day time or evening. Very good selection of food on the menu and some nice starters to enjoy. Good drink selection from alchol to soft drinks and you can even enjoy a nice hot drink. Good atmosphere and staff are friendly. Well done guys keep up the good work
Stopped here for an early dinner. .WHAT.... a great place to dine ,drink etc...we were met by "Jack"...who was really friendly and helpful..Great personality too.... food on time ,had three course, fixed price choice.... AMAZING! Taste, Presentation and timing of serving was faultless...the layout of the floors ,tables and chairs was perfect....we thoroughly recommend this place.. Ten out of Ten !!!
Great pub, excellent location, friendly staff. Been here a number of times over the years and it has been consistently good as a pub and somewhere to eat. Staff are friendly and professional. Its clean and decorated to a excellent standard. Dining room is big so even is busy times of the year you can find somewhere to sit and order food. Look at for live entertainment which a very welcome edition to a nice night or afternoon out.
Quality over quantity. Excellent food, well prepared, well presented, superb flavour. 2 & 3 course deals are great value for money. Polite and efficient staff. Thoroughly recommend. Good location for Theatre and River. Will return. .....28/12/18......dined here again prior to going to the Theatre. Pub and Restaurant very busy yet staff were calm and collected throughout. Appropriate waiting times between courses. Pub has a new decor since last visit and is still a most pleasurable establishment to visit. Great location. Food was excellent... Will return.
Limiting menu for my constitution, once the southern fried chicken option had sold out. Reverting again to a fishcake and skinny fries took the edge off my enthusiasm to hurry back. My party had a great time there, all the same. The fish cake was a great fish cake, by the way. It just seems to be the one main dish I narrow down to, when dinner is at Encore.
