The home of Shakespeare - this house is situated on a main walk area with lots of nice tea and coffee shops around it, it's worth the time to go in and have a look and learn some of the history, unlike many people who just stop outside for the photo opportunity it's more interesting inside the house. And the gardens just off this main area name for a good attraction..

Great if you want to learn about the history of the Tudor era and a little about Shakespeare's upbringing. There isn't too much to see though, you can get done with it fairly quickly. You are better off booking the 3 in one package that includes also access to other places related to Shakespeare.

A building which builds a good picture of Shakespeare's family and class background. The staff are very friendly and informative (though the comparison about beds and sports cars was used about 4 times). The house is in a very good condition and the gardens are beautiful.

Excellent museum all round. I loved the audio-visual display when you first enter the exhibition area. The house is fascinating, the room guides were great. Not sure if they're there all the time but there was an actor in one of the rooms accessible through the garden who would recite Shakespeare on request. She had an obvious enthusiasm for the work, which was lovely.

Of course the whole story begins here. To be honest we can see and learn a lot about the famous writer's childhood and family. How they lived, what was the father's job, from where he started his life. Also this place can give us a better and wider look at people's lifestyle in that time. Staffs are in costume are very lovely and they are friendly and answer our all questions.
