Found this place by accident when walking around the town Went in for a lovely experience Very good and educated staff give an excellent insight as to how the school operated and what it was like to be there in Shakespeares timeThe school desk is quite poignant - names engraved in desk from those killed or served and survived the 2 world wars I found the place both educational and moving with a bit of humour mixed in Well worth a visit for an hour or so - you will not be disappointed
Best experience in Stratford. Shawn (or Sean, I didn't see it spelt) was a great School Master/Magister. Staff were very informative and enthusiastic about their venue and the Tudor schoolroom experience was very fun.
It is great to visit a place where such a great playwriter grew up. Very interesting to see how he learnt his Latin lessons. They show you how students of different age groups interacted with each other and helped each student learn among themselves without the use of paper and books. You'll get to learn a Latin lesson as well. Worth a visit.
Great place to visit. The School Master is very entertaining. Go there using the Stratford Walk Tour Discount coupon, it is a great deal.
Excellent is it. Very informative. My 6yr old loved it!
