Very welcoming and comfy stay. Excellent breakfast. Good value for money.
Have stayed at Avonlea on several occasions when visiting Stratford - its a lovely B&B. The hosts are very kind, considerate and go out of their way to make for a really pleasant stay. The beds are super comfortable, rooms spacious with modern en suites and an endless supply of toiletries by H2K of Harrogate (meaning no small plastic bottle waste!). Breakfast offerings are great and very well cooked if you opt for a traditional cooked breakfast - the poached eggs are brilliant! Its my number one choice of place to stay for Stratford upon Avon.
Fantastic guest house, free parking and walking distance to the town. I stayed over new year and was really impressed. I was greeted by the owner with a big smile who carried my bags to my room. The bedrooms and bathrooms had clearly been recently refurbished, and were spotlessly clean. I plan to use this as my regular place to stay when I come to the RSC.
This is lovely B&B. The bed was very comfortable, the room and new bathroom were spotlessly clean, the owners were so friendly and breakfast was delicious. A very short walk into Stratford and the RSC theatre. Well be back!
