Good hotel in an excellent location. Decent restaurant, bar and gym space. Only let down was slow check in, a queue quickly formed and despite a few staff around only one was on point.
Stayed here many times when it was owned by Q Hotels. Now by Double Tree, it's slightly gone downhill. One member of staff on Reception was frosty on our arrival but all other staff were great. They were a bit short on food any anything we ordered from the lunch menu had items missing from the order. However, the hotel is in a great location and I would still return.
Great location. Excellent room. Good breakfast selection. However, this place needs to decide if it is a hotel where people sleep or a nightclub. I am sure there arent parties every night, but paying full rate for a room and having the continual thump of music until 12:45am is not really on in my view.
Excellent hotel. Staff courteous, helpful and friendly. Room fantastic, clean and very comfortable. Problem with a broken toilet seat but that was sorted efficiently. Close to town for exploring, sightseeing and eating. Easy sign in/out. Would definitely stay here again.
Nice place. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Decor looks dated, but it's supposed to be. Room was big and comfy. Unfortunately the food was nasty. Evening meal cost 50 and was gross. The breakfast made me and my partner ill. Get better chefs and I'll come back. An otherwise pleasant stay marred by this.
