The staff are very friendly and informative, the bedrooms are nice and the breakfast is very good (its all buffet including the Full English Breakfast). The bathrooms could do with a bit more work. There was some black mould on the ceiling and some of the tiles were cracked and in need of repair or replacement.

Nice hotel with really friendly staff, especially the parking attendant and waiting staff. Room was a good size, quaint and quirky, though the bathroom could do with renovation (hair and rust in the bathtub, and mould on tile grouting as well as peeling paint). Carpet and curtains were also a little faded. No noise issues even though we were overlooking the high street. Good size bed but a little firm for our liking. Parking is 10 overnight but we weren't told that until checkout.Overall, good location but is probably overpriced for what you're getting.
No service. Bad attitude. Out of stock of a lot of beer. Still made us carry our drinks to our table!? Will never go back there again. We were supposed to have had a meal there but decided to just have our one drink and leave. Such a disappointment! As we absolutely loved staying at the Mercure in Ireland! Loved every day of this chain... So it was a massive let down in Stratford!
Good hotel. Very old . Friendly staff..nice lounge to sit read have a drink with friends. They do afternoon tea and snacks In the Bar/lounge area. Well placed for the Theatre and other attractions. Room was clean. We stayed for four days . Room was well serviced every day..breakfast is Buffet but ask if you want scrambled or poached eggs.
