We stayed here for a mid week break of three nights. The hotel is on the road right opposite the theatre and within easy walking of the town centre and all the Shakespeare attractions. Our room was a good sized double, big enough for a large double bed and an additional cot bed. We had to walk through a small labyrinth of corridors to get to the room which our little one found fun!Breakfast included a good array of cold meats and cheeses. I had the full English every morning and not once did it disappoint! We dined once, the first evening of our stay and the food was extremely good, and our little one was accommodated very well, she had spaghetti with meatballs in tomato sauce, clearly homemade and as good as the adults meals!The staff of the Arden are a credit to the hotel, the receptionists were welcoming and helpful, the restaurant team were friendly and efficient, especially the breakfast crew, who always took time to entertain our little one and nothing was ever too much trouble. Id certainly stay here again the next time were in the area.

Cosy room.. comfortable bedBut room had cobwebs in window..and stained bed runner.Bathroom lighting too dim. the bathtub was too high and had rustGreat breakfast..helpful staff

Pleasant staff and a rather luxurious suite of rooms. The food in the bar is very tasty and and a quality that matches the rooms. Well located in the towns centre.
